How to record in high-definition?
Confirm that “Resolution” in the Setup menu is set properly. With video resolution UHD 2880*2160 24fps or 1920*1080 60fps (highly recommended), ORDRO camcorder can record extremely high quality video and capture wonderful moment. Using a tripod (not included) is recommended and in a good light when recording. Be careful not to move the camera when you press the shutter button. AE8 camcorder is recommended for beginners, not for professional! and easy to make vlogging and youtube videos. Note that, with Digital Zoom, enlarging will decrease image quality.
The external controller is a great addition so you don’t have to touch or mess with the camera itself to record/stop recording or take a photo.
The AE8 camera is compatible with an external microphone! It works with an electric mic or a mic that uses the camera power. Compatible with lenses with 37mm threads. (external mic and lenses not included)

How to watch videos on your TV?
When outputting 1080p or 24p (4K) signal, please use a supplied HDMI cable and then play back the recorded high-definition images, you can enjoy them in high resolution with high quality sound.
Connect the HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT jack on this camcorder and to the HDMI input jack on the TV.
Or using an attached SD card reader for your SD card, you can insert the SD card into the adapter and insert the adapter into your computer or TV.
It is not recommended to playback your recorded videos and images on the camera.
If you want to use the camera as a webcam to have video calls or Live stream:
Connect camera to your computer with a attached USB cable and open the camera screen to display “MSDC” and “PC Camera”. Move the “W/T” button or touch the screen to select “PC Camera”, press the “Photo” button to confirm, then the camera is used as a webcam allowing live streaming or video call.
Before using the AE8 camera for the first time, check the package contents to ensure all parts are free of visible damage.
Note please:
1. Use the camera to format memory cards and for the first time use need to charge more than 3-5 hours.
2. You can select the maximum zoom level. Note that the image quality decreases when you use the digital zoom, but this is not a malfunction.
3. It is recommended that you record images under stable conditions (for example, using a tripod (sold separately) allows you to shoot beautiful scenes.) Do not apply shock or vibration to this camera during recording.
4. You cannot use the Wi-Fi function of this camera to connect to a public wireless network.
